Surprises

Two packages in my mailbox. Curious and curiouser.

Eileen sent this wonderful bag of coffee. Her son roasts the beans. We had "talked" coffee over the holidays. I'll be saving it to share with my coffee loving daughter when she comes home for Spring break. Oh how delicious this package smelled. Thank you so very much Eileen.
I wonder what my mail lady thought when she put these packages in my box. This one from Jane smelled heavenly too. Pretty fabrics, RIC RAC, vintage buttons, a Mary Engelbreit pin tin, delicious pink tea lights, and CUTE tea thank yous. Thank you, thank you Jane.

Remember this picture? Many of you were curious and asked what it was.

I can now reveal that they're teahouses. I didn't want to spoil the surprise but since many tea swappers have received them I thought I'd satisfy your curiosity. Each tea swapper received one as a thank you for participating in the swap.
This has been such a fun swap for me because all of the tea swappers have been organized, prompt in their responses to e-mails, enthusiastic, and it has made my "job" as swap hostess easy. You ladies are so talented and I have gotten to know many "new to me bloggers" through this swap. And to everyone reading Tea Talk Tuesday I appreciate your very kind comments.

You were such a great swap hostess and wrote about so many great ideas. I know it was a lot of work. I wasn't in the swap, but I feel like I was. Love the tea houses! Such pretty fabrics, and they look so good all stacked up.

Cute tea houses. I didn't ask but wondered what they were. I had fingured they were something for babies from pastel small print I could see.

You had me at that word again..."VINTAGE". It's a good thing I'm sitting down because my heart is beating faster and I know my knees are weak.

What wonderful gifts! I'm sure that the rest of the gals who are just waiting to be introduced are having a heated discussion over who's going to get which color of button...not to mention the ric rac.

And what time did Maisie get in this morning?

Ok, let's see...you got something
skwooshy...something smelly...some
round thangs..oh, and some of that
ziggy lined stuff and some of those
paper things with teapots drawn on
them....yep, my kind of goodies!!!

Couldn't have gone to a nicer swap

I got mine this morning and can confirm that they are wonderful complete with a little tea taster. :-)

Aww what lovely parcels. Hmmm coffee beans! That is my top morning smell. I am like a bisto kid sniffing out my morning cup by the bed that hubby has put there as he is an early bird. You can now have a wonderful bath with scented tealights and surround yourself in Bloggy goodness. :-)

What lovely friends.

I love my little tea house. It came in the mail this week. I was so surprised. It is darling. I'll have to try the raspberry decaf tea. I have to tell you when I was pregnant the only thing that settled my stomach was lipton lemon decaffinated tea. My daughter is pregnant and I told her she should try it. She couldn't believe how great it works. Especially on ice.

Thanks for organizing this great swap Stephanie. I apprecaite it. I know how much you've worked on it.
