New Pattern--Oak Park Bag

You've seen this sneak peek before and now it's time for the reveal.  I used 1974 by Urban Chiks for Moda.

Supreme Sewer Candace of Squash House Quilts made this super cute and fun Oak Park Bag using Freebird by Momo for Moda.  She used a jelly roll instead of a charm pack.  Love the flexibility.  Perfect pattern  for scraps too.  Thank you very much Candace.  It's really exciting getting the e-mail with the photos attached.

Supreme Sewer Jackie of Canton Village Quilt Works used this modern and bright Sugar line to make her version of Oak Park.  The solid is Essex; a wonderful linen/cotton blend.  Jackie has these delicious fabrics available in her store and what's totally fantastic is she's kitted Oak Park Bag and has the kits available in her store. (materials only--you'll need to purchase the pattern from my etsy shop)  Thank you Jackie!

Oak Park Bag is now available in PDF in my etsy shop

BIG HUG to Daughter Creations!  Sometimes I'm asked about the name I give a pattern.  Oak Park is a great little suburb just outside of Chicago.  I must thank Daughter Creations for naming this bag as well as creating the stylish PDF.

What a lovely bag once again, Stephanie! And I love the different versions made by all those talented sewers! How nice, that Jackie is selling the kit in her webshop!
I love how you explain the name you gave to this pattern. I always want to know the stories behind it. It makes it more special!
From what I have seen of the Hailee Bag pattern, your daughter does a wonderful job in styling the PDF!!!
Congratulations to her too.

What a lovely bag! I'm VERY excited to have won! THANK YOU, Stephanie!! Hmm, while I have a Dream On charm pack that would look adorable in an Oak Park bag, I may just wander over and take a look at Jackie's kit...cuz hers is pretty luscious!
