Green Friday

Robyn at Daisy Quilts is hosting Colorful Friday.  I've enjoyed seeing all of the great photos and since green is my favorite color I thought I'd play along, just for today.  Yes, I know it isn't Friday in the US but it is in Australia.

Of course I have a polka dot tea pot!

And now I have happy baking dishes gifted to me by Dear Friend Nonnie.

I'll just oooo and aaah over the vintage thingies

I couldn't resist this impulse buy at JoAnns.  It was in the dollar bin.

Mr. Creations has a very green thumb.

A lacy leaf in our pond

Another Thimbleberries oldie but goodie, circa 1997.  This was meant to be a lap quilt but Mr. Creations thought it should become a quilt for our bed.  I think I bought every green piece of fabric in San Diego County!  It measures 107" square and yes, it was on our bed for many years.

You must have a matching valance, right?

Well yes, I really do wear green nail polish.

~Piecefully, Stephanie

I just found your blog and it is great! I have seen the "dressy" quilt (on the right of your banner) somewhere before. I am DYING to know if it is a pattern available somewhere or just a brilliant notion in somebody's head? Any advice appreciated! Liz at armstrongfc comcast net

When I was growing up, we used to call it "Spring Green" and it was my most favorite color for many, many years. I am still partial, but try not to make all the other colors feel bad.

Fun post! Love all the green stuff. Haven't gotten brave enough yet to wear green nail polish, though. Maybe I should shake things up a bit!

Green nail polish? Now how cool is that!

Green is a color that has grown on me over the years and now it is one of my faves too, especially in the kitchen. Think jadeite...think green!

Marvelous pictures, Stephanie.
