Time for a reveal. The center panel of this tote is a linen tea towel calendar I purchased in 2009 (the year I turned 50) from Michelle Engel Bencsko of Cicada Studio. Her work is lovely. Instead of storing it in a drawer I decided to cut it up. Pure by Make Life Sweet is a perfect partner. You could personalize it by using applique, embroidery, or a tea towel for the center panel.
Introducing my newest tote pattern...Modern Mary Jane. Sew easy, totally fun. Daughter Creations just finished the hard copy and PDF versions. She's totally awesome. The PDF is now available HERE. If you're interested in a hard copy let me know. Feature fabric is by Alexander Henry.
It even has back pockets!
Super Supreme Candace used denim and velveteen by Anna Maria Horner. What a great combination. I think Mr. Squash House is missing some jeans!
Snazzy back pockets! Love the '60s vibe. Thank you Candace.
I usually have a giveaway when I reveal a new pattern but for something different I'm giving away a tote kit with the pattern. The kit has everything needed to make this pattern except for the fusible fleece.
I've even included a vintage button.

I decided to do a sneaky drawing on comments left on THIS post. The winner is #16 - Simone! Congratulations.

I love these projects! Wonderful :-)
I have one of Michelle's linen tea towel calendars, and I'm afraid to cut into it. Will it diminish the value? Love your new pattern.
What a darling bag Stephanie! Great job!
Another wonderful pattern, Stephanie. I am infatuated with PURE - I love it in your pattern with that wonderful towel. You never cease to amaze me.
Mr. Squash House is probably looking for those jeans, wondering if Abby ate them...LOL She has done you proud yet again.
I HEART this pattern - you are just wonderful !!!
I've been a bit absent in blogland ... sorry. I'm in my "groove" (is that 60's or 70's? LOL). And my groove right now is concentrating on losing weight which means ALOT of exercise and OH so healthy eatting.
I have missed you and Candace SO much. But, once my goal is achieved, I'll be posting once again. I think I need to post in between though - I don't want you all to think I've abandoned the dearest people in the world - BLOGGERS !!!!
Super cute bag...very tempting! Congrats to the lucky winner!
Great new design, Stephanie!
I just love how the look changes with the use of different fabrics.
Congratulations, Simone! Lucky you!

Love the tote pattern and the fabrics. I am working on a new bag for myself and have been thinking a could use 1 or 2 more for the summer months coming up.
What a fun bag, as I run off to buy the pattern I love the pockets!! Really have been enjoying your blog!
I love your sneaky drawing idea lol
Congrats Simone. A great pattern to show off that piece of fabric you love and just can't bear to cut. Oh, my gosh, that Golly Bard Spoonflower design I've been drooling over!!
Love Love the patterns! The vintage button is so fun!
Big congrats Simone! What a fun pattern Stephanie. I love Candace's use of denim. You could use the back of a pair of jeans on the rear which would have the old back pockets still on. Hmm lots of ideas for this pattern. Great work.
Congrats on another fabulous pattern release! The back pockets are just so cute. Candace did a lovely combination on hers.
Your museam tour is fabulous thanks for sharing. I love this new little purse. Especially in the brights.
Lucky Simone!! What a great pattern, your sample makers all did such a fantastic job showing off your pattern.
Love these 60's bags, I will make one for my Mom and one for my MIL, for Mothers Day, if the fabrc I just ordered today comes in time ; )
What a cute bag!
I love the calendar version, but the bright and cheery comic strip one is fun, too...Oh, but that velveteen and denim is fabulous...Ok, let's just say I like them all. :-)
I hope Abby is doing well on her diet. Hunny should probably be on one, too.
(She's having a one-on-one with a trainer this week to address the biting issue.)
Kimberly
