I love this photo--it's like thread candy. Connecting Threads is introducing 3 new fabric collections, 10 new thread sets, and 33 new thread colors. They asked if I would like to host a giveaway.
Connecting Threads is generously offering 4 prizes: First prize is one of their new thread sets (winner's choice). There will be 3 runners up and each will receive one of their new fabric lines in a fat quarter sample pack. The new fabric collections are:
Pearadise -- 14 fabrics in the collection, designed by Jenni Calo
Tulane -- 19 fabrics in the collection, designed by Jenni Calo
Sweetgrass Prairie -- a Country Essentials line consisting of 33 fabrics in the collection
All of the collections are 100% cotton and 44" wide. They are also designed to coordinate perfectly with Essential Cotton thread and the Quilter's Candy Basics. This portion of the giveaway is for those with US or Canada mailing addresses only.
Since I didn't want to exclude my international readers I'm making this dresden candle mat to giveaway--I would have liked for it to be finished before the giveaway announcement but life happens. It will be finished before I mail it. :o) I've use Sweetgrass Prairie. The fabric is pre-washed and washes beautifully.

I love the Pearadise, but I have been admiring Symphony of Blues since it came out. Just lovely, reminds me of that blue/white pottery. Hope Chest is another collection I've been admiring. I always forget they have thread, but I definitely would love to try some of their thread. Beach house is a lovely set of colors! Salt and Pepper would be a good set to have too. So many great threads and fabrics!

I love the thread from Connecting Threads and use only it for both pieceing and machine quilting. I've also gotten several of their kits and the fabric is wonderful. The new line Sweetgrass Prairie has grabbed my attention. It is gorgeous!

I love the Homestead Thread Set and Sweetgrass Prairie is my favorite fabric.
Sweetgrass Prairie is so charming! I love the muted colours of the Homestead thread set. I've ordered fabric and notions a couple of times from CT - the fabric is a bargain compared to prices here in Canada, and their catalogue is my favourite bedtime reading :)

I really like the quilts that are made with the sweetgrass prairie- very traditional looking but pretty.
I love all the new threads but the woodland ones are particularly nice.

Those are like candy! The thread sets are perfect, I love the beach house one (But I bet the rainbow would be used up faster.)

I LOVE the Pearadse fabrics, so fun! The celbration thred pack has lovely colors. I also like the Hope Chest fabrics and the Parlor Pets fabrics. Connecting Threads is great, thanks for the chance!
