Marsha

Meet Marsha.  A beauty with a fair complexion.  This is her close-up.  Many of you have asked what color Kitchen Aid I bought.  I would have loved the lime green but I also wanted the more powerful machine and the colors were limited.

Now for the body shot.  We made blueberry lemon muffins today.  When the mail ladies don't need popsicles the wonderful folks at my local Fed Ex/Kinkos office need muffins.

Here's the muffin shot.  YUM!  Got a delivery to make.  Enjoy.

Blueberry Lemon Muffins

2 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup butter, room temperature
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup granulated white sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup sour cream
2 TBSP lemon zest
juice of half a lemon
2 cups blueberries

Cream butter and sugars until fluffy.  Add eggs one at a time.  Add vanilla, sour cream and lemon zest.

Mix in flour, baking powder, and salt.

You may stir in the blueberries by hand or scoop into muffin tins and press blueberries into muffin tops.

Bake 350* for 20 - 25 minutes.  This recipe makes a bundt cake as well.

~Piecefully, Stephanie

She's a beauty alright! I had a Kitchen Aid for many many years and just loved it. It was still a true workhorse when I sold it on Craig's list after getting a Bosch. Sometimes I still miss it!

Your Marsha looks like someone who knows what she is doing, and who is not playing any games. A reliable auntie? I'm sure you will have precious moments with her.

Wow Marsha is great! I have a Kitchen Aid also it's that ruff texture steel gray color. Doesn't have a name but he looks like a Hector to me. I also still use my hand mixer given to me in 76 by my mom. It's that lovely harvest gold! LOL

Marsha looks a little like a one eyed - other eye with a patch - bald pirate... I hope she works well for you. I've never named my appliances, but it's quite endearing of you. Hugs
