Abby's New Bathroom

You may recall that we had to do some unexpected, immediate updating of Abby's bathroom.  It used to be the kids' bathroom and now Abby shares it with guests and her kids.

Mr. Creations worked weekends, a little at a time.  It's finally done except for a few finishing touches.  I would like a shelf over the toilet and we need new drawer/door pulls.  The  cabinetry and sink/counter were the only features not replaced.  I love these new mirrors.

Mr. Creations lets me pick out all of the "stuff" and decide on colors and he does all of the labor. These two mirrors replaced the one gigantic mirror.  All of the new hardware and fixtures are brushed nickel. 

The walls are Whisper White and I love the white waffle weave cotton shower curtain.  It's a window-less bathroom so I wanted it to feel as light as possible.  The floors are a bit darker than the photos shows. 

I decided on a sea mist, turquoise, mushroom, white color scheme.  The new light fixture has two bulbs instead of one.  It used to feel like an interrogation room in there.

Previously there was no place to put soap or shampoo except the corners of the tub.  Always a sloppy mess.  When Mr. Creations took the wall down to the studs he discovered lots of depth so created a nice shelf for the shower necessities.

Mr. Creations is a handy hubby.  Handy hubbies have happy wives and doggies!  Abby loves her new bathroom.  She awaiting guests.
