Fuzzy Wuzzy

Who have we here?

They took their modeling serious, most of the time.

Right face (looks like a Conga line)

Left face

About face

I needed a quick baby quilt.  This is a flannel panel I found at JoAnns.  It has a coordinating tan and white houndstooth flannel back too.  Super easy.  I machine quilted along the squares. (the orange appears brighter than it really is)

I heart fuzzy wuzzy quilts for wee little ones.  The binding is corduroy.  I heart corduroy too.  Soft, snuggily, and tactile.  Perfect for baby.  The sweet critters were purchased as props but will be donated to Toys for Tots for the annual holiday toy drive.

WINNER -- Since I won't be home much of tomorrow I'm announcing the winner of the Blogger BOM blocks.

 Congratulations to Cille.

Thank you to everyone who played along.

~Piecefully, Stephanie

Hope Abby doesn't get jealous of the new models!
I bet they'll make someone very happy come Christmas.
I love the quilt and the idea of using corduroy for binding amazes me!! Was it hard to sew with?

Wiiiii... I was just about to write something about your cute models and soft, sweet baby quilt (and I'm with you on the soft and tactile baby quilt) when I saw my name at the bottom of the post. Can I just say wiiii again without sounding completely silly? Thank you Stephanie, I'll try my best to do your blocks honor.

The quilt is adorable and the animal line up makes me smile.
I'm another that wondered where Abby was during the photo shoot.

The animal line up is the cutest! As is the babyquilt! What a great panel for a quilt and such a great idea to use corduroy for the binding!

Sweet quilt. A great idea for a novice quilter to make a baby quilt. Aww what cute toys. I thought they were a variety of Pooh's friends at 1st.

I really like the quilt too...in fact, I could cuddle up under it myself. ;-)

Very cute quilt and cute models, too. Their attention span seems a bit short, but they are still young and surely will learn how to model as professionaly as Abby

I liked your military toys in formation :) Really cute blankie--the corduroy is something I would not have thought of but is definitely tactile and pet-able!
