I heart yarn. I'm a wanna be crocheter. My "how to" stitch book is by my side when I pick up a crochet hook.
While visiting Crafts Americana in May (home to Connecting Threads) Anita show me their Knit Picks department. She was telling me about one of their yarns that makes amazing dish cloths. I finally ordered some -- Limeade Heather, of course.

Anita is right. It feels so nice to work with and slides through your fingers like butter. Now I want more. Take a peek here to see the pretty colors.
Wishing everyone a tasty, peaceful, safe, and very Happy Thanksgiving!

I love to crochet. It's my original textile thing to do. My aunt taught be when I was 8. This yarn looks yummy. Love the color. Your stitches look wonderful!
Can't wait to see what you are making with this beautiful yarn! Who knew you had another hidden talent?
I've wanted to learn to crochet for some time. I really want to make a granny square blanket. But I still haven't sat down to learn (even though I have several how-to books on my shelf). That yarn does look inviting - great shade of green :) Wendy
I love crocheting and knitting too! Knit Picks has some amazing yarn! If you are looking for more (free) patterns, check out Ravelry:

I was on a dishcloth making kick for a while until I realized that I made about 50 of them. I am currently taking a break from them. Lol!
Here are some easy dishcloth patterns for crocheting:

Have fun!
I love your yarn (very you) and I love the fancy crochet hook too.
I don't know about being a wannabe crocheter.
It looks as though you are doing fine to me.
I love knitting and crochet. Right now I am loving it more than working with fabrics.

Lovely green and lovely yarn!
Happy Thanksgiving Stephanie!
Lovely green and lovely yarn!
Happy Thanksgiving Stephanie!
It looks soft and pretty and in your favorite color too! That makes it more fun to stitch up ;)
Happy Thanksgiving!!
The yarn looks so soft, I believe it's a pleasure to crochet. Green is the color for you, but can you resist the other beautiful colors? I guess I wouldn't! ;o) I wish you a Happy and Peaceful Thanksgiving.
That is just the most gorgeous green I've seen in a long time - and my favorite kind of crochet hook, too! Your work looks like you're a seasoned crocheter!
Cheers!
looks great! love the color there. I tried both crochet and knit. Hate knitting. So hard for me to hold the stitches. And the work gets heavy on the needle. Crochet is very easy for me .
I heart yarn, too...but I don't crochet or knit. How I wish I had let my grandmother teach me to crochet!
I forgot that they had another division to their company. I want to be a crocheter too. I bought a book from Joanns the other day.
Off to see the link. I got your card. Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving.
It looks so pretty and soft. I don't think I would use it for a dish cloth.
LOVE that apple green color! have fun!!!!

I love Knit Picks yarn and what a great color you chose. I make dish and wash cloths all the time and this yarn does work up nicely. Have a happy Thanksgiving!
More lime! Love it :) Enjoy!
Beautiful colour and I love that stitch...have fun!!

beautiful colour and beautiful stitching. There is something quite peaceful about crochet work :)
Ivebeen putting together a package of things to keep moms hands and mind busy this winter. I just bought her a new booklet for dish clothes and the yarn. I love their colors and wish I would have known. Now I do...will have to remember for me!
Wow, what a gorgeous colour. I so wish that I could crochet.
i find it funny we both wrote about yarn the same week! did you get the video to work
I used to love to crochet. Haven't picked up a needle since I started quilting 30 years ago. Or anything else craftwise...
Hi; Stephanie!
I love yarn too! Mostly different wool and mostly in bright pink or turquoise.
I made another PIPS today!
So proud, I think it´s an "oldie".
10 years or so!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Do a little crochet but would like to get better. What is your "how to" stitch book?
Wonderful! I am liking crochet at the moment. It hurts less than knitting in the English way. Ulla has shown me how to knit in the European way and that is less painful. I hope you have lots of fun with your crochet. Like you I have my how to book by me as my mind goes blank when I hold the hook, still.
