Cover Girl

Although I think Abby is deserving of cover girl status she isn't the cover girl I'm referring to.

I'm super duper excited to announce that my All About Anna Bag is the cover girl for Connecting Threads newest catalog.  She's gorgeous dressed in Rhapsody of Reds by Jenni Calo.  All About Anna is kitted with this rich looking new line of fabric from Connecting Threads.  Oh joy!  Since they've done all of the work you just have to sit and sew.  Make one for yourself and/or one for a gift.  Who wouldn't love a new bag for the New Year?

Here she is in Symphony of Blues.   The blue collection is from last year and I've really been wanting to pair it with denim.  Anna has divided pockets on the outside as well as a pocket inside.  I made this bag completely in an afternoon.

Just to be a little different I decided to give her a peek-a-boo lining.

This vintage button was a perfect find in my collection.

Oops!  I forgot to put the label inside with the lining so I decided to make it look like a "jeans" tag.  This is the back of the bag.

A very special "thank you" to Connecting Threads for being such a great company to work with.

~Piecefully, Stephanie

Both of these bags look fabulous!
I love the All About Anna bag. Connecting Threads obviously know a good thing when they see it to market it as a kit. I especially love the blue one.
Great picture of Abby :)

I don't know but I think the pic of the first cover girl was just as pretty. LOL

Beautiful, Stephanie. Love it done up in the blues.

I love it - and especially the blue one but they are both fabulous! It must be my year now so I will have time to use my pattern and make my own.

Stephanie, The photos are great. They really show off your charming totes and your photogenic girl. I am excited to sew up my own Anna tote from the pattern Candace gave me. I am going to make one in tomato red with olive and lime green insides. Thanks for the inspiration. Happy Sewing.

Darn it I just put my Connecting Threads order in a couple of hours ago, (taking advantage of their batting sale). I should have looked further for this bag. I wonder if my daughter Anna would like one? Great job! I see you have a bit of snow too! Happy New Year

Wow! Beautiful bags and I especially like the blues! What a great treat to not only have your pattern there, but right smack on the front cover too! Abby didn't get her nose out of joint did she? She's a beautiful girl in her own right :) Wendy

I got the catalog yesterday. Yelled at my husband for not telling me it was in the mail pile. Saw the photo and thought, that looks like Stephanie. When I had a minute to really look at it, I saw that it was you! I was so excited! Congratulations. I'm a big fan of your work and the photo is beautiful.
