Excavation

Oh happy day when you are putting things away, sorting and digging and organizing (well this translates to pulling out more stuff and making a bigger mess) and find something you forgot about.  Does that happen to you?   Please tell me it does!

Polka dot love!  I even remember my plan.  Now I have hand work for the evenings.

I heart my antique mall very very much.  No pile is too deep or too hidden for me to dig.  I try not to wear a skirt when antiquing!  Believe it or not I haven't really bought any new fabric this year.  But I have scored some fabulous oldies.

Since tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day I'll share one of my favorite little Irish Blessings:

As you slide down the banister of life, may the splinters never point in the wrong direction.

~Piecefully, Stephanie

You know you're not too far gone when, even if you forget the project is there, you don't forget what was the plan! Love that little felt tea pot ;) Wendy

Terrific saying, though, ouch.
I'd not heard that one before.

I love digging through things and finding forgotten treasures! Happens every time I reorganize. Trouble is-- I keep finding the same things over and over! :o)

Yes, even though I finish what I start most always, I do occasionally find these surprises! This one looks like fun! Love the new/old fabric, too!
Cheers!

I gathered my PIPS last year for your challenge in a big box, but I still may bump into forgotten plans and projects when I'm looking for something else. The box is still almost full ...

Yes, as a matter of fact I was digging for something in my sewing room yesterday. Found some things I forgot I had and ended up with a huge mess. I like to take things out but hate putting them away. I love your "finds".

Thanks for the Irish blessing smile.
I always look forward to seeing what you will show next.
That little felt teapot is fun and I'm interested to see what the giant polka dots will turn into.

When some of my projects get out of sight...Then it's nice to "find" one or another again and usually I get it done, it's like it needed the "right" time! I think your red dots will turn out beautiful, the back ground fabric is a lovely one! I guess you know how I love to see the red teapot, don't you?
