why, Google, are you getting rid of Google Reader? So...I hope I did
this right. I don't recommend finding a new reader service at midnight without assistance. Bloglovin' is the service I decided to try to continue following/reading my favorites without
losing them on July 1.
You do not have to use this service to continue reading my blog. If you click on the link a BIG facebook shows up. You do not have to have a facebook account. I don't. Look closely at the bottom and it says you can sign-up with your email. Just click on that and follow the steps to move your favorites. It did it automatically.
HERE is a link my more techo savvy daughter sent me. It might be of help to some of you that aren't as clueless as me. She might not be happy with me this morning! I might try other services as well to see what I like best.

I'm the same,I wish they would just leave things alone when it works instead of changing it.
I need the techno for my job, but I don’t like changes either. Why of why is Google Reader going to stop. It’s used by so many blog readers.
I've been asking the same question...I need to do Bloglovin too...sounds like the best way to go.

I went to Bloglovin too. I also do NOT have a FB account and signed up with email. Seems good so far. Didn't we just have this conversation about following blogs thru Google Reader?? LOL!
I was so shocked...I love Google reader. I've heard Bloglovin and Feedly are two alternatives.
Just a question...with bloglovin were you able to save folders you'd created in google reader...I can't believe I could lose all of that, too!

I, too, used Google Reader for all my blog reading.
I wonder now that GR is leaving us if they'll regret it because it certainly sounds like alot of people do use it.
This must be technology's way of trying to keep us young and hip by forcing us to change frequently - a cruel joke, I say (wink).

I already changed to Bloglovin and I really like it! It allows you to categorize the blogs you follow, e.g. quilting, news, cooking. You can also "like" a blog post if you want to read it again. Now if I can find some extra time to read all the blogs I follow, I'll be really happy!
Oh I do not like change! I am using Bloglovin and Feedly for now and then decide which I like best!
and they think we do not use google reader!
