Lime Green Love + Winner

Wouldn't you want to make a pretty corduroy bag and photograph it on your lime green chair?  Both flap and bag body are soft as a hankie 21-wale corduroy by Robert Kaufman.

Happiness is the perfect vintage buttons.  This bag will be given away during my Schoolhouse Session at Quilt Market.  I heart sharing the corduroy love!

It's a beautiful day and I love my chair and thought it worthy of it's own photo shoot.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by my pattern giveaway.  Congratulations to #78 -- Jane.  She has been notified.

My daughter sent me a link about Alzheimer's and how quilting, among learning other new skills, saves brains.  It's HERE if you're interested.

As always, your bag is lovely. But my thanks for the link to the article. I found that very interesting.

That is just the prettiest bag ever! There will be a very lucky winner at Schoolhouse! I agree - your chair deserves attention all of it's own! Congratulations to Jane! Thanks for the Alzheimer's link! I'm glad to know one of my favorite things to do will save my brain!

Such a lovely bag! I have a white chair like that and have been wanting to paint it red. :)

I knew this would happen. Once everyone starts talking about quilt market I knew I would feel a bit sad. I so wish I could be at your schoolhouse cheering you on. I'd be the loud aussie up the back fist-pumping the air shouting woo woo woo.

I love the bag! It looks so soft and touchable..I would definitely make it in corduroy, and cotton also. Lovely fabric!

Is the pattern available for this bag?

I know that all the patterns in your book are terrific to make not using corduroy. But with corduroy fabrics like these in your bag, who wouldn't want to? I'm really amazed by the variety of cord prints available now.
